Hours & Employment Status

  • Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt Status Employee
  • Monday through Friday, Possibility of Saturdays
  • Training Period: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Regular Schedule: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Compensation

  • Base Salary, Plus Commission
  • Projected Total Compensation: $80,000 - $175,000+

Job Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree; preferably with a focus in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • 4-8 years Sales experience, specializing in heavy machinery, laser and/or CNC machines, or industrial equipment.
  • Excellent people skills with both clients and coworkers.
  • Ability to follow sales process, completing all necessary steps, and documentation requirements.
  • Comfortable utilizing multiple forms of communication with clients, including video conferencing, in-person, Vidyard videos, phone calls, emails, social media platforms, etc.
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Guide clients through the sales process to ensure the machinery, services, and the accessories sold meet client expectations and their application.
  • Build and maintain a technical knowledge of the product and services lineup, increasing sales and minimizing returns.
  • Maintain favorable relationships and effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers in hopes of minimizing misunderstanding and unknowing.
  • Suggest additional services or products to complement customer purchase.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and vocabulary when addressing clients and coworkers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure full client satisfaction.
  • Schedule in-person and virtual machine demonstrations for clients when requested.
  • Utilize the CRM in accordance with the structured Sales process, ensuring all client profiles are up to date, including notes of customer interactions.
  • Participate in local and out-of-state tradeshows, expos, and other events that require a sales presence.
  • Educate clients on Boss Laser products and services based on their application during the sales process.
  • Remain up to date on all current promotional events, sales, and new products at Boss Laser.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards in personal office space and shared spaces.
  • Process all client requests in a timely manner.
  • Calculate accurate shipping rates and sales tax based on customer order and location.
  • Obtain all proper documentation for client profiles and upload said documentation to client profile within the CRM.
  • Use social media platforms to prospect and connect with potential clients.
  • Acquire all necessary documentation and information to successfully complete a proof-of-concept sample request.
  • Resolve client issues when capable, involve management when needed.
  • Perform clerical functions including, but not limited to submitting and sending faxes, proofreading, and photocopying documents for client orders.
  • Process sales contracts, and questionnaires to the best of your ability for clients, ensuring no liability or client incurred costs falls on Boss Laser; Include management when necessary.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship skills to close sales deals with clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership on potential client issues, such as order cancellations, or upset clients.
  • Other duties as assigned, required, or requested.
